Submission Guidelines

Requirements for article submissions.

MAGAZINE

We are pleased to accept unsolicted submissions. Not all articles will be selected for publication in Whole Woman Magazine.

• Submissions must be in a Microsoft Word document with no photos embedded. Use Times New Roman font, size 12 with double line spacing.
• All submissions must come with a third person author blurb between 30-50 words.
• All submissions must be e-mailed to the Whole Woman production team.
• All submissions are subject to editing. Final copies of your articles can be emailed back to you on request prior to publication.

Short Articles:

Word Limit : 600-700 words.

Preference given to articles submitted with high quality photos.

Regular Articles:

Word Limit : 850-950 words.

A minimum of one high quality photo needs to accompany the submission. Preference given to those who submit a few high quality photos for the magazine team to choose from.

Feature Articles:

Word Limit : 1200 words. If word count is over 1300 we will not read it. References are not included in count.

A minimum of two high quality photos need to accompany the submission.

* We only publish one feature article per issue. Preference will be given to features which are unusual, interesting, and well written.

• There is no word limit at this time.
• We prefer if photos are submitted to go with articles.

Article exchange for Advertising:

Please send your article only. If the article is accepted, we will let you know. At that point you can submit your advertising image or blurb for publication on the same page your article is published on.

To increase your chances of getting your article published, write interesting, informative articles, preferably with references. Make sure that your article is cohesive and well structured.
